First Day Internship

Today was my first day in my summer internship in a biotechnology company in Massachusetts. It was really nice experience. in the first hour, they had a small meeting where everybody was talking about their project and what they were doing last week,..etc. I felt lost during that meeting, since they were use abbreviations of chemical reagents and experiments..etc. By the time, I started to get to know some of what they were working on, just step by step..They were really helpful when I needed any help or question. The good thing about this is " I HAVE MY OWN CUBE"..hehehe. Now I need to put some pictures and office tools in my cube, since it looks empty comparing to other cubes..Also, they told me that I will attend a meeting in Cambridge this coming Monday with them, which is interesting... So far, it was a nice day and it hope it will be like that for the rest of the summer

Earth Hour

This coming Saturday (March, 28th), many people around the world will turn the lights off at 8:30 pm. I like the idea behind this and how it rises the awareness of global worming and how we human affect that. this "Earth Hour" is just a symbolic act to unite people around the world. The Empire State's building, Sears Tower, Sphinx and Pyramids, Eiffel Tower, Sydney Opera House,...etc, all will share in this hour.

Back to School

Today is my 1st day in this new semester. I hope it will be a nice semester, Although I hate how some professors are telling us about 1st assignment or exams within the 1st couple weeks, I was like "Hell NO".....Another thing, I hate when I go to the bookstore and find one of my books costs $ 200...I HATE those bookstores, but have to go there every semester........the good thing about this semester so far is the Ethics class (seems so, although it is just the 1st day) it will be about certain issue such as abortion, euthanasia...etc..so it seems interesting...

The Suspected Goat

I can't believe that some people really believe in magic to that extend. Anyway, today while I was reading the news, I came across this (Nigeria Police hold 'robber' goat). Some people claim that they saw the armed robbery suspect used magic to change his shape to the goat..so the police keep the goat in custody until they figure that out....Poor goat, they are trying to make it confess...What if the police believed the people and accused the goat! are they going to put it in jail? Why this suspect used the magic to become a goat, why he didn't use it to become a bird or an eagle..! so it will be more easy for him to escape..!! I'm just kidding for sure...It is really sad that some people believe that.
